IMT Insurance Celebrates #GivingTuesday

IMT Insurance was honored to participate in #GivingTuesday on December 3, 2019! #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners – charities, families, businesses, and individuals – to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

IMT strives to support local communities in an impactful way throughout the states in which write business. On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, we donated $2,500 to eight different organizations every hour from 9 AM – 4 PM, for a total of $20,000! Six recipient organizations were randomly selected from our pool of Community Contest winners, who were nominated by a local IMT Agent earlier this year, and two organizations were chosen based on feedback from IMT employees. We were so excited to participate in this initiative!

The following organizations each received $2,500 as part of IMT’s #GivingTuesday: AHeinz57 (DeSoto, IA), Buffalo Center Volunteer Fire Department (Buffalo Center, IA), Feed the Pack (Corning, IA), Food for All (Kalona, IA), O-I-See Family Strategies (Lake Elmo, MN), Reach Services (Paris, IL), OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois (Peoria, IL), and The Dream Factory (Madison, SD).

We were pleased to have a number of local IMT Agencies join us in presenting the eight organizations a donation on #GivingTuesday. We extend a special thank you to the following IMT Agencies: Bank Agency (Buffalo Center, IA), Miltner Insurance Services LLC (Corning, IA), Fisher Insurance Agency: A Division of AW Welt Ambrisco (Kalona, IA), Zignego Agency, Inc. (Lake Elmo, MN), Dimond Bros. Insurance, LLC (Paris, IL), and First Madison Insurance (Madison, SD). IMT is built on our deep roots and relationships in our communities and truly value our partnership with each of them.
